3rd term youth

Last night was our second evening of the third term of youth this year, and because it's the third term gr7 are now allowed to join the youth... And so we had quite a few new youth members last night which made the youth pad quite packed, although it would still be great to have more teenagers join us of course. We had lots of fun getting to know one another and learning more about what the old testament is all about.

Exciting news!!

I have some very exciting news to share with all of you... I'm pregnant! Yay! Not sure how far along I am yet because it's still in the very early stages. Please pray that the pregnancy will go well and that the baby and me will both be healthy throughout.

Sunday baptism and lunch

On Sunday morning we were blessed with the testimony of a father and daughter, Mike and Ingrid, being baptised. I pray that the Lord will continue to bless them and draw them ever closer to Himself.

Mike and Ingrid

After the church service we went to family for lunch to wish Andrew our congratulations on his engagement. It was a wonderful afternoon and a great time with family.

Michael especially enjoyed playing soccer with Nathan.

Young adults

We had the young adults over on Saturday evening for a house-warming. It was a fun night of playing jenga on a chair, playing 30 seconds on the trampoline and chatting. Thanks to all who came and to those who gave us gifts.

Semaster 1 results

Just a brief post to say that I have finally received my results for semester 1... yay... and I'm pretty satisfied with my results. I got an average of 79%. And there were no problems with the admin side of things this time. I just want to praise God for His constant love and grace, without Him I never would have been able to achieve what I have!

Welcome...

Its so exciting to introduce you all to our blog!! This is all still very new to me so you can probably expect some changes to take place in how the blog looks over the next couple of weeks... Okay maybe alot of changes...

So let me use this first post to introduce you to who we are...

This is my wonderful husband Michael. He is studying theology at BTC at the moment and is in his 3rd year.

And this is me. I'm studying psychology and sociology at Monash university and I'm also in my 3rd year.

Michael and I got married last year on the 11th April at Makiti. It was such a beautiful day, as God joined together 2 hearts to live together as one flesh.

Our first home was in Windsor East. After staying there for about a year we decided that living in Krugersdorp nearer to the Church would be much easier in terms of travelling and time. And so now we live in Monument.

Look out for new posts and more pics coming soon...
