Andrew and Sandhya's Wedding

Last Saturday we were privileged to attend Michael's cousin Andrew's wedding... Andrew met Sandhya in India and they fell in love quoting scripture to one another... Michael was the best man and so he was dressed in an Indian outfit...I originally thought this might look a bit strange but I must say it really looked good on him... It was such a blessing to see how God joined together 2 people from different continents and made them one... Unfortunately I didn't get a photo af the bride and groom, but I did manage to get a few others...

Jono's bumbo

We were blessed to be given a bumbo for Jono, which he has only started to use recently because he can hold up his own head for longer periods of time now... He loves to play in it, as you can see...

Nicole Burns

It was so great to be able to meet our niece, Nicole, born on the 9th May weighing 3.38kg... I also realised that Jono also used to be that small, and even a bit smaller... Wow how fast time has gone and how big he has gotten!... Anyway, this is the adorable Nicole...

Jono was particularly shocked to find out that he had another cousin...

Time with the Thompsons

Jono spent some time with the Thompson family today, and he had alot of fun playing on Eden's pink play gym, singing songs with Amanda and Rachel, cooing and smiling at Glen and Antje, staring and playing with Eden, and even wearing Eden's socks on his hands to keep him from scratching himself... What a blessing to have such godly gaurdians to care for our precious son...

Jono update

Just a quick update on our gorgeous little boy... He has begun to make small cooing noises and is starting to give little smiles every now and then... He also slept through the night this last Sunday... He hasn't done so again but he is still learning... He is also starting to outgrow some of his newborn clothes... We are so blessed to have little Jonathan in our lives and to watch him grow daily... 



Drakensberg holiday

We were blessed to be able to join my parents and oma on a holiday in the Drakensberg at Champagne Sports Resort... It was a nice time to rest and to spend time as a family... Michael and I both had early mornings with Jonathan sleeping on our chests but Jonathan continues to be a great blessing to us as we watch him grow bigger each day...

 Other activities included walks, playing pool, going out for lunch, playing tennis, playing wii, sleeping and just chatting... My dad and I also attended a photography session so I was playing around alot with my camera and with all the fancy settings I never knew were there... So here are some of the nice ones...
